KöngWalter Köng, a former designer at Packard, established his own coachbuilding company in Basel in 1935. He worked with Packard in the USA until 1930. In the second half of the '30s, Köng built cabriolet bodies on French and English chassis. Köng got a lot of attention when he presented the daringly designed Riley coupe in 1948. As the demand for custom coachbuilding decreased, Köng concentrated on restoration of classic cars. He passed away in 1999. |
