When a coachbuilder is created in the list, could I ask you to take the introduction post with pictures towards the newly created position in the list? I do not know how to do it. Thank you very much indeed.

I already tried to do that, but unfortunately I can't take and move a single reply and change it into a new topic at the same time. What I can do is merging certain posts into an existing topic, but the creation date can sometimes cause confusion. Easiest thing you can do is creating a new topic with the content you wanted to have moved. I can then delete the original post or just leave it there, whatever looks best.

I've written this in one of the (now lost!) non specific topics before: I guess it would be more reasonable to sum up the countless Italian coachbuilders and carrozzerias in one seperate chapter. What's your opinion?

How do you mean exactly? They are now all sorted per country with each coachbuilder in its own sub-forum. Or do you want to make a new Nomination-thread just for the Italians?

Well done!
Thanks. It was one day of work and that's when the mistake in the Non Specific section happened. Now all the coachbuilders are sorted per country, it is easier to add new ones, because there are now more shorter lists to work through instead of one enormous pile of European Coachbuilders.

Many wonderful cars are shown in our pages, some of which are really news to me, as I am sure they also are for some others. However, pics of the inside - the interior that is - are few and far in between. Could I suggest we also put these up, even more so if they are original?

Perhaps I am the only one with this problem, or others are to embarrassed to ask...I have a number of images which are too big to be accepted by this forum. Is there a simple programme which reduces pics in size, so they can be put up without bothering others? (Except for now, of course, lol)

I always use Photoshop on my Apple. I don't know which freeware is best to use. ACDSee is nice, but then you will have to use the temporary trial version.

I've tried a lot software, but made the best experience with Fast Stone Image Viewer. Even more pleasing that's for free! (only drawback: it hasn't a search engine!) You can edit every pic's size in a few seconds. A freeware tool wich provides much more possibilities is called GIMP, but working traditionally with Photoshop I haven't tried it out!

Great idea. Only problem is that these views are much rarer. Same with the rear of cars. Much harder to find. For several cars (in general Alfa Romeo's) I already asked on this forum for inside and rear view pictures. Until now...no success. Also I prefer to post as much pictures of the period which are, therefore, historically accurate.

IMO it might be useful if the posts are numbered. That way it is easier to refer to pics that are posted a couple of post above. On most other fora, this is a feature that is present, so I believe it can't be that hard to add this option.

I agree, but I'm still not sure if this version (the latest) of the phpBB forum has this feature... I'm still looking for it, but did not manage to find and activate this yet.
