I restored this car 3 years ago. It was built for Regina Millhiser, of the Gimbel's Department Stores. She lived in New York City and had a dispute with RR in Springfield so she went to England and purchased the chassis and contracted Henry Binder to build the Cabriolet de ville body. The car was delivered to New York October 1929. This car was used by Franklin Mint for their PI model in 1988.

I'm hoping for some help!

I'm looking for some more pictures of 41GX taken while on display at the 1936 Paris Salon with its new Binder coachwork (in its first form). Given that this thread shows the only two (low-quality) images known on the record so far (the front/side views that I have seen many times over the years - one of those posted again here) - in addition to better pictures - I'm hoping to find pictures of the rear and the interior of the car in 1936.

I've attached a picture of what the rear looks like today... it would be interesting to see what it looked like in 1936!... was it the same?... we already know that the front was changed dramatically (back to its (traditional) Rolls-Royce radiator. I'm interested in identifying the brand of tail lights currently on the car... they don't seem to have any markings... and I think they could be American.

Looking forward to everyone's thoughts... and - I hope - pictures (or any suggestions for a resource that could be of help...) - thank you!

Thank you justrolls
Those would be the two pictures ("#41GX 1930 PII rebodied Binder Drophead Coupe for Paris Salon 1935 (ex Kellner Saloon)-2.jpg" - which also appeared on page 3 of this thread). Still hoping for pictures other than those two known shots (particularly rear views and interior views).
Cheers!

Hi all, might anyone have a photo the Rolls-Royce Wraith WRB69 fitted with a Binder sdv body please. Even if its a pic thought to be of the car. Or has anyone a description of the body, details etc.

Thanks Wayne

The previous picture of GKM30 in the post on 17th November 2009 was take about 1992 at the Real Car Co. in North Wales.

These colour photographs show how the car looks today, 2017.
