Toyota 2000 GT was the first supersports-cars of Japan and connected elegance as well as the most modern technology with impressive road performances. The whole production during the years from 1967 to 1970 amounted to only 351 copies. For the design Saturo Nozaki was obliged which had graduated from the kind of centre college of design in Los Angeles and brought from there precise images about "western" beauty ideals. In the interior of the GT in 2000 all classical attributes of a sports-car of the sixties are found. From a thin chrome ring surround, instruments and operating elements are fitted into a continuous armature bearer from rosewood. Also the look under the hood reveals the best engineer's art and a look for aesthetic details.
