I am not particularly fond of the Jaguar XJ shooting brakes that Avon came up with.
Chris Humberstone designed this one, which is so much nicer.
Only two are said to be built for Hatfields - a Sheffield Jag dealer.

The Alfa Romeo Alfasud based Triplex Ten Twenty Special (TTS) by Chris Humberstone. 6 single seats in a car of this size due to the unconventional seating lay-out. Triplex is/was a manufacturer of safety glass who provided the glass roof for this vehicle. The car appeared on the London's Earl Court motoshow in 1976 and then once more on the Geneva motor show of 1977 shortly after the London show. After these 2 appearances it was destroyed in a crash test. Interesting vehicle with unfortunately very litte information available. Also an Internet search provides little info.

Sometimes the promotional brochure for this concept car pops up on E-Bay UK, but this brochure only shows sketches and no pictures of the actual vehicle.

The "Midi" roadster designed by Chris Humberstone is covered almost nowhere. An Internet search results into 1 black/white picture which was apparently shot at either a motor show, tuning show or kit car show. The design itself resembles is some way the Pininfarina designed Alfa Romeo Cuneo concept car presented in 1971. Of course the dimensions of the Midi are very different, but I see some resemblance. Does anybody here on the board have more information on this car such as;
-Which year designed?
-Presented on which show(s)
-Additional pictures
-What happened to the car?
