 Post subject: Maserati 5000GT

The design was presented at the same time as the the Touring version and presented to the shah of Iran who chose the Touring design. It was later exhibited at the Geneva show in 1961.. It was never sold and was kept in the Maserati factory until 1965 . It has chassis number am.104.004, not 103 like the 5000 series.. The car now has twin headlights, Misral taillights and a normal 4700cc engine and is in Spain.. :-) Nik
