I've just uploaded a very nice set of images to the gallery: http://www.coachbuild.com/index.php?opt ... emId=48692" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

When I have my scanner up and running I will post a pic which clearly shows that this car never was driven across the border, because it was too far gone. It is nice car though, which was supposed to have been painted dark red or crimson, but apparently the new owner decided otherwise.

Auctioneer's story telling again?
Here's another article telling the same anecdote: http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/2007 ... lls-royce/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The Solove Collection’s 1913 Rolls-Royce 40/50hp Silver Ghost Tourer was discovered in India’s Punjab region near Patiala, and driven overland to Karachi, Pakistan, where it was shipped to England for restoration by renowned Rolls-Royce expert Jonathan Harley.

Re: H.J.Mulliner Rolls Royce Silver Ghost
Sure. maybe a gap of 15years between the two images. The original SG wheels could be lost. Don't know the cassis number, but is difficult HJM had built two cars so similars. SG specialists correct meTommyK wrote:with other wheels

But there's still more changes: Windshield, rear wings and running boards. And yet I think it's the same car.TommyK wrote:Thanks ! I'm convinced with it !

The first time, when I've seen the second pic, I've thought it is the same car. But when I compared the pics, I've seen the differences. I'm not a specialist in Rolls-Royce, so I've written "similar".

The car registered AA 3884 is chassis 1647, cutely nicknamed by its first owner "Town Mouse" because it was so quiet. He was Dan Hanbury.TommyK wrote:similar version
