Vignale bodied Aston Martin DB2/4 , supplied in chassis only form to Vignale and bodied in an elegant fast-back design, originally ordered for His Majesty the King of Belgium

Vignale Aston Martin DB 3/3
In 1953 works car was sold to Mike Sparken, With 3 litre engine installed it was taken to Vignale who put on coupe body. Salvadori as co-driver and with works support Sparken finished fourth in the Casablanca 12 Hours race in December 1953.
It was written off in a road accident. Engine was sold .

Alexhaba - terrific link. Thanks, I haven't seen that before and it tells us a lot more about the Panelcraft body on DB3S/105, featured elsewhere.
