It's the 2 doors and four seats sport sedan introduced to the 1949 Turin motor show.

The cabriolet exhibited at Turin motor Show in 1959. Based on Flaminia 2500cc chassis, this car would to replace the B24, but ing. Fessia didn't like it, "it's too much american style" , he said. So he gave the order to Touring. This car doesn't exist anymore, a collector tried to restore it 34 years ago without success.
I can recognize the Michelotti's pencil, it's very close to the 3500GT Maserati spyders.

(My bold.) How can you not suceed in trying to restore a car? Did it burn down during the restoration process or something?

He found the car abandoned in a field uncomplete and completely rotten. When he came back with a tractor to move it....

Oh, that's sad. Lets hope some local just pushed it into his barn as the idea of it being scrapped is really too sad. :(

The car has been scraped, just the steering wheel and a manifold survived.

From the pininfarina section:

Are you familiar with the car? I have never seen it before and I tried to find more pictures of it, but no luck so far.

I like what little I see.

I'm still waiting more pics from the Targapedia guys.

All the B20s have been made by Pf, 3 by Zagato, 1 by Boano ,1 by Fichet and 1 was a custom-made. Today there are 4 different B20s around: 1 by Touring, ( a fake conversion) , 1 by Zagato ( a fake conversion), 1 by Vignale ( completely fake) and 1 by Moretti a B20 with the removable roof.

Is the car one the left in this article (which was later modified to become the car on the right as I understand it) the same car as in that picture?

Thanks. Shame to see it ending its days like that. While I like when people build their own cars, I can't help feeling he should have used a standard production version instead. But I guess these cars weren't considered anything special back in the days ...

If this car survived, it's possible to come back to the original body.

Who can tell more about the history of this fabolous Lancia B52 (‪#‎B52‬ 1015) with Vignale body?
- Ex Dovaz (Sleeping Beauty collection)
- Museum Sarlat (1989-1991)
- Now in the Netherlands
- Probably the car which Gina Lollobrigida had driven in 1954
- Probably the Lancia B52 Aurelia Vignale from the Movie " La Provinciale"(http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_444748-Lan ... a-Coupe-B5…)

Your help is highly appreciated.

It's always the B50-1196 "Erminia" commissioned by Ermino Macario, a very popular comedian in that period.
