Few people realise the involvement of Vignale with designing the first supermarket trolly prototypes... really hopefully, a one off on Fiat 1500 in 1948

It's the same you posted before, Joao.
The owner lives near my parents. I know this car, it was at a dealer in Moncalieri (TO) in 2008 and i saw it at Padova fair, last october. It has an aluminium body.

one of the 124s (I seem to remember it being yellow or orange) was for sale about thirty-five years ago from near Hektor's present residence in the hills east of Melbourne. I don't think we found out how it had got there but the thought of aluminium coachbuilding, hand-made, etc., was too much for Dad who made do with an AC series Fiat (quite enough work, just never the body strangely enough) It perished in a forest fire, something which comes with the territory, so hope the vignale wasn't still there then - it would have left even less ...
