Volvo Elisabeth I, P445 chassis prototype coupe designed by Michelotti and built by Vignale, 1953. Amazone five years to go...

Elisabeth I was actually built by Allemano, subcontracted by Vignale, and its also in the allemano section. The second car was all created by Vignale.

I have inspected the remains of E II stripped of paint and is stunned by the craftmanship behind the bodywork, its smooth as its bodyparts would have been pressed in a machine. No scratches, dents, loads of pewterfiller as is common on special one-off bodies.

The car is complete, all parts remains, although there is probably nothing left of the PV444 chassiplatform underneath... the superleggera has also collapsed.
