"In 1955 Roberto Rossellini (Ingrid Bergman never took delivery)."
I thought they were married at the time, and it is not unlikely the car was a present for him?

0456AM @ Barchetta.cc: http://www.barchetta.cc/english/All.Fer ... .375MM.htm

Rossellini and Bergmann were indeed married. Many of the Ferraris the couple ordered were said to be gifts for each other, but Rossellini probably bought most of them for himself. ;)
This 375MM was not specifically designed for Ingrid Bergmann (nor for Roberto) but still her name is associated with this car for ever.

Although the image is slightly dark, I think that it is Bergman who is inspecting the car in the first of the "period pictures" above. Not sure whether either of the men behind her is Rossellini.

375 Plus America #0488AM For the King Leopold III of Belgium. 1956.

To my eyes one of the all times best creations by Pininfarina
-With those 250gt speciale (superfast actually) for King Bernhard and Princess Lilianne de Rehty-
Do you have more pictures?

This is less strange...more similar to a 250 Europa...but it's a 375 America...

This stunning Ferrari was built for Roberto Rosselini's wife Ingrid Bergman. Not disimilar (Sp.) in appearance to Rudolph Uhlenhaut's Mercedes 300 SLR Coupe, the Bergman Coupe was the genesis for Ferrari's 275 GTB.

Sadly it appears to have been recently repainted in red which do not suit its lines at all. :(

It have been black over red in the past too, but I believe the dark blue over white is its orginal color scheme.

Stxxxx owners obsessed by the Red Ferrari dealer typical of the '80s.....when a man ignores the history totally.....

I saw the car during the RM auction at Villa Erba in 2011.
A period pic during the 1955 Turin motor show.

Yes, I'm sure, sadly. The picture I posted was taken in January this year. Here is another picture from last year showing the same color:
http://www.barchetta.cc/english/all.fer ... .375mm.htm

And how it appeared back in 2011 when it was sold to Leslie Wexner (current owner):
