This is a race car, one (#005) of the 5 official Lancia work cars. It took part to the 1953 24H of Le Mans.

The man pointed by the arrow is the Marquis Arnaldo Trevisani, president of the Automobil club Italiano-Turin and managing director of the Michelin Italia (Lancia official supplier).

^^ Do you know whatever happened to the cars? Where they simply scrapped after their racing career ended? I've seen pictures of one after a crash with a Stanguellini but I'm not sure if that was severe enough to write off and there should be at least two made of the coupe.

Mr. Guido Rosani, who unfortunately past away, was working on a recreation of a D20. I didn’t find any photos of the finished project. Maybe PG1964 have some information about it. It will be great to see a D20 on the street again.
