Hi all,

I was at Beaulieu this Sunday, and guess what I found inside the museum :?:

one of the 6 Wood & Pickett built GT 40ies.
Wood & Pickett did the interior - paintwork -light & brake adaption - etc, so these cars could become road legal.

here is a picture, and as you can see, did they fit the Lucas 608 rearwiew mirrior to this car too, which makes them so expensive on Ebay

Hi all,

Another "one off" has emerged from its hiding, after nearly 4 decades.

Its not named W&P or Margrave, its the Mini Gordon.

The reason for posting it here, is that it was W&P who built it.

This little car, was built for a mr Gordon, who wanted to sell it in Belgium, as his own brand.

It was shown at the 1974 Bruxelles Motor Show, on the Lamborghini stand.

Unfortunally was there no market for such a expensive "town car" so it became a "one off"

It is highly original, only had a paintjob 20 years ago.

Hi Rob,

The guy next to the Mini is Justin de Villeneuve, manager/boyfriend to Twiggy.
