That's what the article says, but they were also wrong about the engine capacity (4.100 cc is a 340 engine) :))
although one of the pictures mentiones a Ferrari 2000 chassis (which is a 166) ;)

This very special car was built for Giulio Musitelli (driver of Scuderia Guastalla), on a Vignale 166MM/53.
The body was composed by nine main panels, but the total components were 18. The final body's weight was 55 kg (121 lb).
The car was 28th OA at the 1953 Targa Florio and won the 10h of Messina.
After that year the car recieved a 250MM engine.

The first photo from a magazine shows the Abarth's workshop in via Trecate 10, Turin. The man was pushing the car is Felice Garrone, Abarth test-driver.
From the left to the right: Felice Garrone, Giuseppe Manera (chief foreman) was the man who built this car with his hands, Renzo Avidano (first assistant) and Carlo Abarth.
Unfortunately, the article didn't say Franco Scaglione designed the body.
