Hi all, I bult this body for a friend on his 1933 Alvis Firefly shortened and drilled chassis.
The body was constructed in my 18x 20 foot shed from 16gauge 3003 half hard aluminium.
Construction time was around 600 hours over the period of a year.
The remit was for a late 20s early 30s style racer. Some aspects of the body were not exactly to my personal taste such as the tail scoop and If I done it again I would drop the tail end in more of a boat section profile as it is a wee bit to square and loose the scoop.. other than that I was happy enough with the result ....

He has since competed the car and sold it on.
