Two V8 Simcas that never saw production (and this is really a shame !) :
a pillar-less version of the Chambord, developed and tested in 1958 and a top luxury Presidence version, bodied as a two-door convertible. Two were made. The french coachbuilder Chapron was involved in the finishing of the interior, but not in the styling and the construction, which were a in-house Simca realisation.
To complete, another Simca convertible. This yellow and black exemple, with many accessories, is different : its rear wings are from the first gereration of Simca Versailles V8. This photograph comes from the april 1983 issue of the french magazine Nitro, dedicated to customising.
