Urania-BMW 750 Sport 1947.
Fiat Topolino derived chassis/front-central BMW engine.
Based on a modified 500 Topolino chassis, the 1947 two-seater 750 Sport is powered by a BMW boxer twin-unit placed just behind the front axel, sharply tuned by Berardo Taraschi up to 40 HP.

Urania-BMW 750 Sport 1948.
Tubular chassis/front overhanging BMW engine.
The 1948 Urania 750 Sport, with tubular chassis, torpedo body and motorcycle fenders. Thanks to the overhanging front engine, the car appears definitely more compact than the prior version and offers a much better driving position.

Urania-BMW 750 Sport 1949.
Tubular chassis/front overhanging BMW engine.
In 1949, the Urania 750 Sport is widely improved as regards chassis, suspensions (new telescopic shock absorbers are mounted) and powertrain (the engine is smoother and flexible). The body exhibits a more tapered and functional design.

Urania-BMW 500 F.2 1948.
Tubular chassis/front overhanging supercharge BMW engine.
The 1948 Urania 500 Formula 2. Based on the 750 Sport, the single-seater is powered by a front mounted Roots-supercharged BMW boxer, with capacity reduced to 500 cc. The unit is capable to produce about 80 HP at 6500 rpm.

Very attracted by the mid/rear engine typology, Berardo Taraschi builds in 1949 an absolute interesting single-seater 500 Formula 3, with tubular chassis and mid-mounted BMW 500 powertrain. The car presents a very advanced driving position.
