Post subject:  Autos International

I looked at Frank Wo's parking lot and i remembered that i used to buy Autos International when i was 11. It was an expensive- cars classified-ads magazine in the early 90s (February 1990 No1). At one stage, my parents wanted to get rid of them so i took scissors and cut the ads. So i can't remember what was the last magazine i bought but i still have the ads and now i can share them with you :)
There are many cars that i'm not sure wether they are coachbuilt or not (or if they are interesting enough). That's the point of this topic. Instead of flooding the mystery cars section, i'll post 'possibly coachbuild' cars in this topic.
If you recognise a coachbuilder, let us know, and if you think it would be a good addition to the matching topic, tell me and i'll do a better quality scan and post it with credits to the 'expert'.
Have fun!

1st Part (I have a LOT of 50s-60s Bentley & RR coachbuilt by Mulliner, Park Ward and Mulliner-Park Ward. If you think they're worth posting, leave a message)

Hi Nico!
There are very cool cars here! I wish to know more on many of them and you can see part of their history on some. It's a very nice idea though I suppose it means a mount of work for you. I want to thank you share these images with us :good: Let's see if I can contribute on something...

Thanks Aymami,

I still have a lot more to post in the right topics now; i began with the easiest part ;) . The problem is somehow the quality. The pictures are quite small and scanning them doesn't give v. good results (and the fact that there's a 2000*2000 pixels limit).

I know that some cars here are fully described and could be posted but i'm not sure if they're worth ('mass' production cars, better pictures in proper topics...) so i included them in my selection of unknown cars.

Post subject:  Re: Autos International

Thanks lads,

Aymami, do you know more about Mitchel as a coachbuilder?
I found a Whittingham & Mitchel Ltd. coachbuilder in London that bodied a Derby Bentley in 1931. Is it the same one?

I'm gonna update my first post now. Keep up the good work!

Post subject:  Re: Autos International

1931 would be a Cricklewood W.O. Bentley, Derby only after 1933...

I misunderstood 'Date Est’d' written in the table (http://www.derbybentley.co.uk/derbybent ... ilders.htm).
I would not have been so hasty i would have realised that there was no Bentley in 1555

My mistake, thanks Rob to have pointed this out.
