Hi,

I would like to buy a new scanner to post my own pictures in addition to the ones i find on the web.
Unfortunately, i don't have the money (and room) to get this scanner: http://www.4digitalbooks.com/def_4db.htm
So, i'd like to know what kind of scanner you have, are you happy with it and most of all do you have any tips to scan large, expensive books.

Thanks for sharing your experience.

I have two of those in my basement! :puh: :P ;)
They're rubbish, so I just keep on using my old AGFA SnapScan 1212. Good enough.

Two in your basement?!? (2 seconds, thinking...)
Yeah, right!
I think it would have been more believable if you had said one in your WC ;)

Thanks for the agfa. I'm gonna check this out.

18 month ago I have added a 'Mustak-DIN-A3'scanner to my comp.-equipment ...,
... it is better for bringing oversized (A4>) book-pages and the old formates of GERman 50s >70s-magazines ...,
... You will know also my A3-collages with it, placed in 'FrankWo┬┤s parking lot' ...,

... Yours, FrankWo ;)
