Hallo, a friend of mine has a very nice Mercedes SS Tourer with original coachwork by Sindelfingen. The car is to be believed in original condition. Original paint, original upholstery everything original. The car was new delivered to the Sultan of Johore in 1929 from Sturttgart to London where the Sultan resided. The car also had originaly the French Cromos bumpers. They are still with the car. Someone told my friend that the bumpers had stripes in the body colour originaly, which I think not. Can anyone help with fotos of the car from the thirtys or does someone know if ever Cromos bumpers where delivered with coloured stripes?

Hello to You,

please send this question first to Sebastian Nast/owner of the MB-Exotic-Car-Forum: snast@gmx.de
Write him, it was my wish (Frank Wollenberg/FrankWo) for You to do so.
His forum is mostly for the postwars-exotics (80%), but for all before too. There are some People with best direct-lines to 'Sindelfingen's past'.
If they cannot help, the second way in quality will be for me, to ask my books for additional help ...,

... best wishes and welcome-greetings to You, Frank(Wo) ;)
