Chassis LBLW70 was a long wheelbase left hand drive chassis Silver Wraith with a Limousine body by Franay similar to the 1952 car, in black and white for delivery to Prince Mohammed bin Saud Al-Kabeer. It is sometimes listed as also being a Sedanca de Ville, but it is not.

This Silver Wraith Sedanca de Ville was waiting for a better life when photographed in Cairo in 1978 as shown in Autopuzzles.com. It is a short wheel base chassis, of which one was made for Aristotle Onassis, and an earlier one for a Saudi royal client, which was not listed as left hand drive but most likely was. The design is similar, though.
As far as I know the only Phantom II bodied by Franay, a Landaulette de Ville (#110GN) delivered in 1930 to Mrs. Louise Kerckhoff of Los Angeles. She was the widow of William G. Kerckhoff, a very rich entrepeneur of German origin.

LELW 2 was a 1955 left hand drive Silver Wraith long wheel base chassis with 4566 cc engine and automatic gearbox, which was supplied to Franay for an American customer, Mrs. J. Thomas Russell, who kept changing her mind about what she wanted. At first a traditional Limousine was planned, then it evolved to the car seen here, with more modern, even sporty lines. Subsequently the customer decided on having an integral airconditioning system installed, which neccessitated the removal of the body once more, and the reurn of the chassis to Rolls Royce. On this occasion in 1958, Rolls Royce updated the specification of the chassis to then current standard with a bigger engine (4877cc) as well as power assisted steering. This again forced Franay to adapt the body again. When the whole car was finished it was nearly 1959, but the customer was travelling and only took delivery in May 1959. That year the new V8 engined Rolls Royces were introduced, and she soon was persuaded to trade her car in for the latest model.
Conceptcarz.com states : " The coachwork was begun by French carrossier Franay who closed his doors before finishing the commission. Henri Chapron who was highly regarded for his elegant and restrained designs completed this 7 passenger car." It is right ?
