1917 De Dion Bouton.
How does one call this body style? Open Tourer? Phaeton?

Hi, Michiel,

for 1917 this car is still member of the Edwardian aera and the carrosserie-style was named as 'Sporting Victoria'

A rather impractical form of bodywork that was chiefly mounted on H.-Suiza, I.-Fraschini and suchlike chassis for the wealthy entrants of fashionable concours d'elecance in France and elswere during the 1920s, the Sporting Victoria was a Sports Torpedo or Phaeton to which was attached a fixed or folding carriage-style, triangular-aspect victoria hood covering the rear seats only, the front seats remaining unprotected from prevailing weather conditions.
Emerging in 1910 or therebouts, the total number of Sporting Victorias built was very small and it is unlikely that any have survived in their original form, since concours d'elegance competitors tended to re-body their cars with bewildering frequency in the effort to outvie each other in initiating coachwork trends ...,

... with greetings to You, FrankWo.
