Commissioned by the Army Forces in 1939, the CMC torpedo by Savio was a tactical vehicle based on Fiat 2800 chassis. The chassis was enforced, the first gear was shorter, the engine had a bigger fan, a bigger radiator, a special air filter and 2 fuel tanks. The car was succesfully tested in the northern desert of Liba. This vehicle was assigned to the General of the Army corps, but in 1943 the armistice stopped the production of the 210 cars scheduled.
