This car should be a prewar Lancia Belna, the first "narwhal" bodied car, 1946.
There is a line about this car in Beaulieu's Coachbuilding volume (pag.147) and in Rene Bellu's book (Les voitures Francaises des annees 50) there is another picture.

Are you sure Paul?
This car seems to me too long for a Belna, and the shape too old for a 1946 car.
I think this is an Astura...

It is indeed a 1938 Belna, on which the body was started in 1939, and only finished in 1946.

You can always set automatically colors in photoshop once you've downloaded the pictures
cmd+M+B (automatic color) and cmd+M+U(unsaturate). Fast and clean. This is the result. Never mind Tommy.
