Frankly speaking, I don't see the difference.
Both cars have Weymann construction?
And how it's relates to this French brochure?

What's mean "Ideal-Cabriolet"? A certain construction?

Post subject:  Re: Reutter Adler

"Ideal-Cabriolet" was a patented construction by Reutter. It was not a real cabriolet, it was a "Cabrio-Limousine". Similar constructions were the "Aerable-Monobloc" by Autenrieth, a swiss patent and the "Tickford" Cabriolet by Salmons.
Reutter's Ideal-Cabriolet has nothing to do with the french brochure.
Reutter has built, like many other coachbuilder, bodies after the Weymann patent. So the Adlers you posted have a Weymann body with a "Ideal-Cabriolet" roof.

I have similar photo in my collection purchased on eBay, but, I think, it's a photo from original for book.
