The Streamline-Röhr is not an "Olympier", it's a type 8 F.

The car came back from the USA in it's "hometown" Ober-Ramstadt (home of the Röhr works) a few years ago and is now painted in its original colour dark brown.

The Röhr 8 FK Olympier was the supercharged model. It's uncertain that more than 4 cars were built. One survived in Poland, a 2door Saloon with a dark blue Autenrieth body. The Olympier is now located near Darmstadt.

With the front of the Streamline-Sedan, Autenrieth also built a Röhr 8F Sport-Cabriolet in 1933.

Article from 1998, when the Streamline-Röhr was coming home to Ober-Ramstadt.

Another article from 1998. On the right side of the car: Werner Schollenberger, Röhr-Archiv; Getrud Autenrieth (91), daughter of Georg Autenrieth; Michael Gast, son of Hans Gustav Röhr; Karl Schwarz (91), driver at the Röhr works.
Four years later, when Mr. Schwarz was 95 years old, I took a pic of him standing at an unrestored Röhr Junior Sport-Roadster. Autenrieth has built 5-6 Sport-Roadster bodies for the "2000 km durch Deutschland"-Race in 1934. At this race Karl Schwarz drove the roadster he saw again 68 years after the race.

I remember this one very well in its cream color scheme from the late '60s/early '70s when it was in the US and would show up at Hershey. Besides the fact that at least the first year it was on the field without an engine, the thing I particularly remember was the interior. I remember the seats as generally a muted red, but the headliner had spectacular embroidery, details of which I don't remember specifically. It would be great to see that again, if anyone could manage to get a pic.
