Hello again!

I joined this incredible site about three years ago to continue the history of my Grandfather's 1929 Duesenberg J-426/2452

Today, I am trying to complete the history of another incredible car he owned- a Castagna-bodied Mercedes SS Cabriolet. I am sharing the information below and a picture of the car from my personal family album to see if anyone recognizes it.

1931 Mercedes Benz 710 SS Cabriolet
710 SS Cabriolet Convertible (possibly called Roadster) Castagna-bodied
Chassis number: 36208
Engine number: 72323
R.B. number: 1406
Kom number: 43754 du 18 juin 1930 (June 18, 1930)
Cabriolet (Castagna)
Color: Gris in USA (NY registration states “blue”)

With greetings, Frank ;) .

Thank you, Frank. I tried multiple times to set up a password and user name on the site yesterday and it kept saying I needed to verify my email, which I did. I translated it into English and followed all of the directions...I guess it just doesn't like me. LOL.
