There was a discussion if this body would be taken off to create yet another Monza Spider. At first this was restored, but I believe since this body has now been removed and replaced by - indeed - yet another Monza lookalike..

Senor, that's not a 1900 but a 6C 2500. The 1900 Giardinetta was bodied by Frua (Ghia)

Oh this body WAS off for a while but was always preserved and this FANTASTIC Alfa Monza ( which actually 3rd in Le Mans) has got the Viotti body back on again....

Spot the differences!
The car is much lower today than it was then. Almost like a HotRod streethugger...
And I spot some differences in the tiny chrome bits, a rear bumper, chrome disc at the rear wing, etc...

I found it as 1900 or 6C 2500, maybe there was the possibility to have a similar body for both...
here a larger picture of the car.

Look at this car, its not 1900. Its true 6C 2500 :) Most of the 1900 was left hand drive, this car has right hand drive

Is this the world's 1st lowrider? While they didn't have the hydraulic devices back then, there could be many other methods they could use to compress the springs.

Unless it is my eyes playing trick on me, it can seems like the car did not initially have a opening trunk either. There does at least not appear to be any shutlines at the rear but the photo is of pretty low quality so it is hard to say for sure.

Post n°3 at prewarcar.com was mine.

VII Turin elegance concours, 1935:
Alfa Romeo 6C2300 berlina aerodinamica Pescara by Viotti, designed by Rolandi.
In the second photo the first car in the line is a Lancia Augusta berlina aerodinamica by Viotti, designed by Revelli. Both the cars won the "Best modern car" Grand Prix and a silver cup.

A small and poor quality picture of it from the rear/side.
