Wonder why it was posted at the Frua section!
It's clearly a Michelotti work and was nicknamed "Silver Ray". As far as I know it was the last car of Nardi before they finally focused on steering wheels.

Correct.. It is no Frua.. It was commiusioned to Giovanni Michelotti under his own name..

oh.. good qestion Mårten... It has vanished.. and as it was based on the ex. Bonetti Alfa Romeo 412 Vignale spider (V12)the chassis this is.. many many people would like to know...

From what I understand it is believed/speculated that the Silver Ray was based on the parts of the chassis from the Alfa Romeo 412 by Vignale (see picture).

The Silver Ray should still be with us. Here is a recent picture I saved on my computer a while back. I believe the car currently reside in New York or at least it did so a couple of years ago.

Nardi 750, a coupe on frame Fiat 600 with Michelotti design. Shortly after, in 1960, Nardi Española started to manufacture small series Nardi with aluminum body on frame Seat 600.
