Whatever happened to ex-Fissore designer Trevor Fiore (nee Frost) after he left Citroen?
Is the man still around in France?

One of the big mysteries I'd also like to know! It's the same with A. Sessano.

Top talented designers just disappears? whoa...
Maybe abducted by aliens to create a super-elegant galaxy cruiser for the Gworgh fleet?

He is still around.
After Citroen he was freelance with studios in California, Nice and Paris.
He is still resident in France but I believe also has a UK address.
Although I have his Nice and San Diego addresses and have tried to contact him (by phone and letter) he can never be reached and never responds.
I believe he is somewhat disillusioned with what happened to his freelance efforts in the 1960s and will have nothing to do with them or with anyone concerned with them.

Thank you!
I expect you know most of Fiore's original design sketches were sold off a couple of years ago?

Actually they weren't!
They had to be withdrawn the night before the auction due to Fiore issuing an injunction against the vendor, claiming that they were still his due to the designer 'retaining artistic rights' and claiming a huge sum of money from the vendor for a) selling something that wasn't his to sell and b) publishing all the designs and ruining Fiore's planned release of the pictures at some future date (although he didn't know where they were, having left them with the vendor's father many decades ago!)

The dispute has now been resolved but the drawings still remain with the vendor!

Were all the designs published or only the 2 that are posted above (these are also the only ones I can remember)?
If so, has somebody photo’s of all of them and are they willing to post them here?

By the way, I just thought Mr Frost (or Fiore) himself will probably hate me for posting these pics here.
Then if you do happen to read this, Trevor, I sincerely appologise!

Sure nuce sketches unearthed there! The Autin-Healey design would sure have been something if materialized. a Healey Superflow.

Thank you for posting them :D

Here are 2 other Fiore design sketches and the built cars.
Both cars were made by carrozzeria Fissore

Love those old-style renderings! They had that certain charm most of today's sketches lost!
(I know, it's a kind of nostalgic view) :D

Well done!
But that's only 7 of them: there were 41.

I can send them on email to anyone who would like them but I think perhaps best not to publish them all on the Web without permission.. Don't want a lawsuit!

It seems H&H will again give them a try in Pavilion Gardens next week:

Actually I was wrong when I said there were 41; there were 41 picture files on my computer but many of them were duplicated/triplicated. Most of the designs are shown.

The auction was last Wednesday and I was there. The Jaguar and Alvis pictures went for 7/800 pounds each and all the TVR and Lea-Francis pictures went to a Swiss Trident Clipper owner (sadly not to me, the owner of the only TVR Trident on the road..) for quite a lot of money - more than I was prepared to pay.

I think everything sold except for perhaps one.

A Swiss owner?
Then I'm pretty sure they are in good hands with Bruno Meier.

The pics below are showing the restored version. Don't know if red was the best colour choice (white?), but it's a beautiful little car in anyway!

Is this the first version that hasn't hurdled USAmerican safety regulations or is it the already modified car?
(maybe moved to a seperate Fissore or Fiore TVR Tina topic?)

Great pictures!
The coupe is my favorite Tina.
It reminds me of my good old Bond Equipe - another cool Frost-design.
