According to my sources, this car is a Lloyd Steyr, with a frame sourced of the german Lloyd 600 ; has it been bodied in small serie by Steyr for the austrian or central european market ? Has someone more informations about this car ?

Only can refer to this page: http://auta5p.eu/srazy/roztoky_2004/roztoky_54.htm
I've translated the text, but there are no additional infos about the markets where it was sold...
Guess our Czech members will help...

I do not have this car-photo in stock, but it is possible to be a Lancia, on Aurelia-cassis. In 1952 Pf starts with a lot of aerodynamic-exercises, build up on several chassis', so Lancia-ones also. They are looking only a little bit different from each other - and there are to much of it, for bringing all with photos in the popular Pf- and/or Lancia-books of the <100;--€-costing-area ... :) ...,

... with greetings, FrankWo.

I'm confused.
Are we talking here about Stabilimenti Farina or Pinin Farina?

The men who owned this Lancia described this one being a "Farina" body, and AFAIK ..Farina never bodied a Lancia Cabriolet like this one.

Hi,

I have checked all three possibilities:
1919>1953 - Stabilimenti Farina (SF)
1930>1961 - PininFarina (PF)
1961>2*** - Pininfarina (Pf)
And I only found similar creations with PF between 1952 and 1955, so I have only written about it ...

Yours, Frank ;)

The interior of the same car when in another exterior finish. Ex 1935 Paris Salon, sold to Lady Davis, wife of the Governor-General of Canada.

I found on the web these pics of rebodied german cars ; they have been rebodied in the 50s or in the late 40s - very certainly by german coachbuilders. Has someone an idea of the name of these coachbuilders ?

Hi, Franck,

all 4 photos are taken from the book-title 'Dies alles fuhr auf unseren Strassen' (free translated: This all was found on German roads)/Dr Paul Simsa
First published in 1969 with this title You get 150 pages > ~200 cars> 350 photos, found parked around Stuttgart/Baden-Württemberg/West-GERmany between the years 1955 and 1960. The cars itself are (mostly) private built in the ten years after WW.II (~1947>~56), with the possibilities of this time in WGER.
#1 - DKW F7-Streamline - photo from 1959/numberplate is WIesbaden/Hessen - book has 3 more pics ...
#2 - Opel-Tröller 1200-Roadster/1950 - 2 more pics of this FReiburg-resident car...
... it was usual in this years: You bring a found chassis to a repair-station, and they create a carrosserie in Your wishes - here with an Opel-1200/1931>35-chassis ..., ... this was much cheaper than a new for example VW(-Beetle) I-1100: 4.800;--DM-1950/32.200;--€-2009
#3 - VW I-1200 with up-to-date Sport-Coupe-design of the early 50s/photo-Württemberg-area/1955 - to remember: p r i v a t e made - one more pic ...
#4 - BMW 319 - again the early 50s - for sale standing at a gas-station in 1956 - one more pic ...
--------
Meanwhile - about 50 years later, all cars are gone - we have only their photos, to remember the time 1947>56 in Germany ...,

... with greetings to You, Frank ;)

The Panhard is 'vanVooren'-style, maybe realized by Hooper (was taken licence from vV) ;
the L-D is Hibbard&Darrin-style ...,

The Panhard bodywork is French. The English would not ave a builders plate on the outside.

Both have to be by Figoni et Falaschi, but what are those cars in what years they were built?
