This is a very interesting car, indeed.I can not say it's beautiful but i like a lot the streamline design. In many aspects ti's way ahead of it's time.

Hi, Rob,

I have this car as Citroén-Busson C6-Saloon/1929 - and nothing, noticed about another/similar one, placed on a Delage-chassis in 1930 ...,

Without any work in photo-forensics - it looks like only a little bit redesigned/up-to-dated for the differences in the optic.

with :?: / greetings to You, Frank ;)

Frank, it is not a Citroën, it is a Delage, it was shown on the Parc des Princes's Concours d'Elegance in Paris in 1930, and the pic comes from an impeccable source and it has not been doctored with. I just don't know if it was already the D8 chassis, or if it was based on an earlier chassis, hence my questionmark. Kindest regards, Rob =)

Frank,

Rob's right. This picture has not been doctored (only chopped and resized ;) ). It's from gallica.bnf.fr (digitized archives of the bilbliothèque nationale de France hence the "impeccable source") and it's a 1930 Delage.

I don't know if it's a D8. I'd rather say a D6 but i'm not sure.
Busson improved the design based on his 1929 Citroën. The headlights are now integrated to the body.
I think i've also seen this kind of body on a third french make but i can't remember which one. Maybe a Chenard & Walker...

Thank You for Your answers. I have nothing found about Delage-Busson-made cars with my (most-used) paper-made documents. So, I have asked You for it.
With greetings, Frank ;)
