S&W have taken every cb-order, they are asked for. Around 1930 they are so #5 of AUS-car-builder. S&M ends after 25years in 1946. A new leadership as Comm.Eng. (for chassis frames for International trucks) ends finally in 1982.

I was looking for info about the rebodied RR (viewtopic.php?f=81&t=3788) and i found a RR Twenty chassis s/n GSK10 coachbuilt by Smith & Waddington in the Powerhouse Museum, Sydney.

http://www.dhub.org/object/207426&img=17833

Very detailed description of the car. Impressive.
There are other cars like a Bentley (unknown coachbuilder), a Sheffield Simplex (Vanden Plas)...

I love to "discover" and learn new stuff! :)

From the Museum's website:
The Rolls Royce Twenty is a rare survivor of this type of car. Ordered new in 1925 and fitted with a local body, it had only one owner and still has its original paperwork. Given to the Museum in 1959, the Rolls remains in original condition and this combined with its detailed provenance, gives the car its special significance.
