Hallo Tommy,

The last car body produced during the war years at Sodomka in Vysoké Mýto (Hohenmauth) was the Saloon Maybach SW 42. It was intended for Mr Július Stano, Minister of Transport and Public Works of the Slovak State. The correspondence between Sodomka and the Slovak Ministry reveals that the work proposed two variants, one classic and the other according to the latest aerodynamic findings. The customer opted for the more daring variant and certainly made no mistake. The chassis was delivered according to the present documentation in April 1941 at Fa. Sodomka, the finished body was handed over in August of the same year.
